Stark Building was founded in 2015 with a simple but clear vision: to deliver high-end, quality homes built with craftsmanship, care, and integrity at the heart of everything we do.

I started my building apprenticeship when I was 18 and quickly fell in love with the trade. A couple of years later, I was honoured to be named Apprentice of the Year, a milestone that shaped the builder I am today. Since then, I’ve returned to the industry as a judge for the Master Builder Apprentice of the Year competition, giving back to the community that helped shape my career. Outside of building, I’m a qualified lifeguard and an active member of Orewa Surf Club.

Together, Sarah and I have grown Stark Building into a multi-award-winning construction company known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and great client relationships. We’ve built more than just homes, we’ve built a reputation for delivering bespoke residential projects that reflect our clients’ lifestyles and stand the test of time.
